Stephanie is a dual-certified special education teacher, IEP coach, author, teacher mentor, and self-proclaimed #datanerd. With over 14 years of experience in the field, she has dedicated her career to creating engaging, adapted resources that make teaching easier and learning more accessible for students with disabilities. Stephanie’s passion lies in empowering teachers to become more confident advocates, equipping them with the tools they need to bridge the gap between educators and families and foster a truly collaborative IEP team.

Today, Stephanie continues to support educators through her platforms, Mrs. D’s Corner and The Intentional IEP, where she shares resources, professional development opportunities, and inspiration for all members of the IEP team. Her mission is to help teachers save time by equipping them with actionable knowledge, spark joy and a sense of community, and make meaningful impacts in their classrooms—because when teachers thrive, students thrive too.
