Ashley Schroeder is a dedicated and passionate 2nd-grade teacher in Northeast Ohio. Ashley got her first classroom in 2006 and has been bringing passion, creativity, and a commitment to excellence to the classroom for the last 19 years. Ashley is a proud graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and she furthered her education by earning a Master's in Education from Saint Francis University. Ashley is also LETRS trained which is rooted in the science of reading.
Ashley's teaching philosophy revolves around the effectiveness and impact of a well-managed classroom firmly grounded in systems, routines, and consistent expectations. By drawing on her 19 years of classroom experience, Ashley cultivates meaningful learning experiences for students that engage every student every time while creating an atmosphere and a classroom community where every learner feels seen, heard, and valued.

She’s passionate about connecting with other teachers while creating dialogue around and sharing her practical and most effective tips for turning the chaos into calm in a way that maximizes instructional time. Through her consistent approaches, relentless enthusiasm, and dedication to student success, Ashley strives to positively shape the future, one classroom at a time.
