Description

This session is designed to equip educators with strategies to enhance student engagement in kindergarten classrooms. Rooted in evidence-based practices, this session will focus on techniques that foster ACTIVE participation, curiosity, and meaningful connections with our learners cross-curricular. Educators will learn how to create interactive, student-centered learning environments that cater to diverse needs, developmental stages, and learning styles.

By integrating standards-based movement, play, and inquiry, teachers will be EMPOWERED to increase engagement and boost academic outcomes for ALL students. This session will provide hands-on learning experiences that help students internalize and apply concepts more effectively. By the end of this session, teachers will have a toolkit of PRACTICAL, research-based engagement strategies tailored to elementary learners, ensuring that ALL students—regardless of background or ability—can thrive in an ACTIVE and SUPPORTIVE learning environment.
